Collaborations with Lara Sophia 2006-2008

Here you will find my oil pastel and acrylic collaborartions with my good friend and fellow artist, Lara Sophia. When we work together, we draw simultaneously on the same piece of paper. We work very quickly, often overlapping each other's marks, and changing our ideas to fit together as we go. It's a unique approach, and we find that it allows us to combine our strengths, and to learn from one another. There is also some of Lara's solo work here. Lara's work is process based, and very spontanious. She works mostly in oil pastel and acrylic. Lara is influenced by easten art, Hinduism, Buddism, and by Japanese Animae.
